Research Activity

is carried out within the framework of the project “Biosensor technology of molecular diagnostics for patient-specific medicine”. Advanced Technologies Center is a member of the Skolkovo Innovation Center.

Research Activity lies mainly in the following directions:
   Cantilever biosensors
   Analytical Bionanoscopy - study of morphology and properties of biomacromolecules and biological systems using different methods of scanning probe microscopy with applications to
- molecular mechanism of protein crystal growth
- morphology and properties of bacterial cells
- conformational changes of DNA in the presence of surfactants
- structure and properties of viruses, molecular processes during viral infection
   Nanoscopy of Polymers - study of properties and structure of nanocomposite and functional polymers, which are of interest for modern material science, biology and medicine
   Material Science – properties of materials on nanoscale level
